Enabling interim fix JR43903 to update marketing expression builders

Interim fix JR43903 includes changes to marketing expression builders in the get-data-config.xml file.

Before you begin

Install the cumulative interim fix for Feature Pack 5, JR53048.fep.

Procedure

  1. For IBM i OS operating systemSolarisLinuxAIXWindows Copy the get-data-config.xml file from WC_installdir/wc.ear/Stores.war/WEB-INF/config/com.ibm.commerce.marketing/ to the following directories:
    • WC_installdir/wc.ear/LOBTools.war/WEB-INF/config/com.ibm.commerce.marketing/
    • WC_installdir/components/management-center/wc.ear.ext/LOBTools.war/WEB-INF/config/com.ibm.commerce.marketing
  2. For IBM i OS operating systemSolarisLinuxAIXWindows For each of your instances, deploy the WC_installdir/wc.ear/Stores.war/WEB-INF/config/com.ibm.commerce.marketing/get-data-config.xml file to the WC_eardir/LOBTools.war/WEB-INF/config/com.ibm.commerce.marketing directory. For more information about deploying, see Deploying J2EE assets for a single file.
  3. WebSphere Commerce Developer Copy the get-data-config.xml file from workspace_dir/Stores/WebContent/WEB-INF/config/com.ibm.commerce.marketing/ to workspace_dir/LOBTools/WebContent/WEB-INF/config/com.ibm.commerce.marketing.
  4. Optional: JR43903 also adds support to display custom email templates in Management Center. If you want to enable this feature, see Enabling interim fix JR43903 to display custom email templates.
