Enabling the glass box agent for a security scan

Once you have installed the glass box agent on your application server, you must define it for each content scan job.

Procedure

  1. On the Glass Box page of a content scan job, enable the glass box check boxes for Explore and/or Test stages.
  2. Complete the fields and options as needed in the Glass Box Agent Definition section.

    Glass box agent URIType in the full URI for the server agent.

    Example: http://hostname:port/GBootStrap
    Username and passwordType in the username and password that were defined when the agent was installed on the server.
  3. Click Connect to Agent to test the connection. Once the connection has succeeded, you can either modify the agent definition or set the agent log settings.
    OptionDescription
    Max. log rows(Optional:) Use the slider to limit the size of the log.
    Log content(Optional:) Select the level of information to be include in the log: Errors: Include only error messages; Warnings: Include error and warning messages; Info: Include errors, warnings and informational messages; Debug: Include all messages.
  4. Click Save when you are finished the configuration.
