Updating glass box rules

If the AppScan® security rules are older than the glass box agent rules, you must update them.

Procedure

  1. On the Glass Box page of a content scan job, enable the glass box check boxes for Explore and/or Test stages.
  2. Complete the fields and options as needed in the Glass Box Agent Definition section.

    Glass box agent URIType in the full URI for the server agent.

    Example: http://hostname:port/GBootStrap
    Username and passwordType in the username and password that were defined when the agent was installed on the server.
  3. Click Connect to Agent to test the connection. Once the connection has succeeded, click Update Agent Rules in the Agent Definition of the page. If a download is available, it will be automatically downloaded to your machine and installed.
  4. Manually restart the application server for the change to take effect.
