Modifying the context menu list

This procedure describes how to use the Context Menu Editor in HCL VersionVault to modify the list of commands in the context menu.

About this task

Examine the list of commands in This Menu Contents. These are the commands that are currently defined for the combination of object type and object state selected in the upper part of the window. You can modify the list of commands and their appearance using the following procedures:

Procedure

• To add a command to the menu, do one of the following:
  • Select the command in Available Menu Choices and click Add.
  • Drag an command from Available Menu Choices to This Menu Contents.
• To remove a command from the menu, do one of the following:
  • Select the command you want to remove in This Menu Contents; then click Remove.
  • Drag a command from This Menu Contents to Available Menu Choices.
• To change the order of commands in the menu, do one of the following:
  • Select a command in This Menu Contents; then click Move Up or Move Down.
  • Drag a command to another location in This Menu Contents.
• To restore the default menu commands, click Reset.
