  HCL VersionVault provides two clients for software developers: local and remote. Each client supports different mechanisms for accessing source-controlled filesystem objects. Both clients provide graphical and command-line interfaces.

Context Menu Editor controls

You can customize context menus using the controls in the HCL VersionVault Context Menu Editor for Windows Explorer window.

The VersionVault Context Menu Editor for Windows Explorer window contains three sections.

In the top section, Choose VersionVault object to customize menu for, you can specify the HCL VersionVault object for which you want to customize the context menu by selecting the object type, object state and selection type.

The middle section, Customize, contains two lists that are populated with values according to which object selections are made in the top section. You can use these lists to review the current context menu of the specified object and to customize the context menu of that object.

The bottom section, Test, allows you to test a customized context menu.
