About this task

You can specify whether hover help is displayed.

Procedure

Click Tools > Options.
In the Options window, click Display.
Do one of the following actions:
- Set Enable Popup Tooltips Help to make hover help visible when the pointing device rolls over the icons in the interface.
- Clear Enable Popup Tooltips Help to make hover help visible only in the status bar.

Results

Note: Changes made to this option are saved when you exit Diff Merge.
