Using navigation commands

To move between differences, you can use the following buttons on the navigation toolbar or the corresponding commands on the Navigate menu:

Button Navigate Command Description
A triangle whose apex points left and touches a vertical bar First Difference Display the first difference between contributors.
Two adjacent triangles whose apexes point left Previous Unresolved Difference Display the nearest unresolved difference prior to the current difference. This button is enabled only when merging.
A triangle whose apex points left Previous Difference Display the nearest difference prior to the current difference.
A vertical bar Current Difference Display the difference currently selected by Diff Merge.
A triangle whose apex points right Next Difference Display the nearest difference after the current difference.
Two adjacent triangles whose apexes point right Next Unresolved Difference Display the nearest unresolved difference after the current difference. This button is enabled only when you are merging.
A triangle whose apex points right and touches a vertical bar Last Difference Display the last difference between contributors.
Two blue circles above a red circle to which is connected by two lines from the blue circles Resolve and Advance Mode Place Diff Merge in Resolve and Advance mode.

Each command changes the current difference to be the difference to which you have moved. When you are merging, the current difference in the contributor panes corresponds to the current merge point in the Merge Results pane.
