  HCL VersionVault provides two clients for software developers: local and remote. Each client supports different mechanisms for accessing source-controlled filesystem objects. Both clients provide graphical and command-line interfaces.

To save and restore an analysis

About this task

You may want to save an analysis so that you can open it with HCL VersionVault Doctor later.

To save an analysis, click Analysis > Save or Analysis > Save As.

To open a saved analysis, do one of the following:

Start VersionVault Doctor and click Open Analysis File in the VersionVault Doctor startup options window.
If VersionVault Doctor is already running, click Analysis > Open.
