To find checkouts

About this task

You can list all the files and directories that you currently have checked out to your view by using the cleartool lscheckout command or, on Windows systems only, by using HCL VersionVault Windows Explorer.

The list produced by either method shows the file or directory versions checked out to your view and, if your view is attached to a UCM stream, indicates to which activity each checked-out version belongs.

To list all the files and directories you currently have checked out to your view, access the view and, at a command prompt, use cleartool lscheckout. For example:
cleartool lscheckout -cview -me -avobs

On Windows systems only, you can use VersionVault Windows Explorer to list all the files and directories that you currently have checked out to your view:

Procedure

  1. In VersionVault Windows Explorer in the Folder pane, right-click an entry for a versioned folder. Then click Find Checkouts.
  2. In the Find Criteria window, in the Include additional folders? area, select Include subfolders.
  3. Click OK.
