To track checked-out versions

About this task

Depending on how you work, you may forget exactly how many and which files are checked out. To list all the files and directories you currently have checked out to your view, access the view in a command shell and use the lscheckout command with the following options:

cleartool lscheckout -cview -me -avobs

On Windows systems only, you can use HCL VersionVault Windows Explorer to find checkouts. To list all the files and directories you currently have checked out to your view, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. In the VersionVault Windows Explorer Folder pane, right-click a folder for a versioned directory and click Find Checkouts.
  2. In the Find Criteria window, in Search folder, edit the path from the root directory of the snapshot view.
  3. Under Include additional folders?, select Include subfolders.
  4. Under Search Only for your checouts?, select Yes.
  5. Click OK.
