Removing a registry region
You can remove an unneeded registry region after reassigning its clients to a different one.
About this task
To remove a registry region, reassign each host in the region
to another region, as described in Assigning a host to a new registry region,
and then use the HCL
VersionVault Administration
Console to delete the region:
- Start the HCL VersionVault Administration Console.
- Navigate to the subnode for the region you want to remove under the VersionVault Registry node.
- Click .
You can also remove the region with the rmregion command:
cleartool rmregion –tag region-name –rmall
