Mobile App Keys
Use the Mobile App Keys page to register a mobile app with Deliver. You must register the app in Deliver so that marketers can use Deliver to send push notifications to the app. You must register each combination of mobile app and mobile operating system separately on the Mobile App Keys page.

    On the Policy Settings page, Deliver administrators designate the email domains that are available to email marketers for use as the From: domain in the email header when the marketers create and configure email communications.

To send push notifications to a list of mobile app users, marketers specify the mobile app user ID for each device as a value for a personalization field. The personalization field is included in the Output List Table (OLT) that defines the list of push notification recipients.

Mobile App Keys

Use the Mobile App Keys page to register a mobile app with Deliver. You must register the app in Deliver so that marketers can use Deliver to send push notifications to the app. You must register each combination of mobile app and mobile operating system separately on the Mobile App Keys page.

Unica messaging services and Deliver identify a mobile app with a unique alphanumeric string called an App Key. Registering the mobile app generates an App Key that identifies the combination of mobile app and mobile operating system. Registering the app automatically adds the App Key to the Deliver configuration.

The Mobile App Keys page lists apps and app keys that are registered with Deliver . The page provides the following information about each registered app.

App Name. The name that displays to marketers when they specify the app in the configuration of a notification push.
Description. A brief description of the app helps marketers distinguish between the different apps that are available.
App Key Type. You can create either a Testing app key or a Production app key. The app key type corresponds to the provisioning profile or project type that you created when the app was registered with Apple or Google, respectively.
Operating syetem. The mobile operating system on which the mobile app runs. Deliver supports Apple iOS and Google Android.
Policy Name. The security policy that controls access to the app configuration.
App Key. When you register the app with Deliver the system assigns the App Key. You cannot edit this value. Use the App Key to modify your app to work with Unica messaging services and Deliver.
iOS Certificate Status. For mobile apps that run on Apple iOS, the status of the certificate that you established with Apple.

To register a new app click Add a mobile application key
To update an app registration, click the name in the App Name field.
