Preparing to work with files

After you set up your TSO Client environment and start the client component of TSO Client, you must complete these tasks before you can work with your files.

1. Select a profile.
2. Select a view.
3. Optional: Create or select UCM activities (if you are using UCM).
4. Upload files to the remote system.
   Note: If you are preparing to work with files using parameterized build, you do not need to complete this step. The parameterized build scripts perform the file upload.
