z/OS® Extensions is a component of IBM® Rational® ClearCase® that enables mainframe users to perform select DevOps Code ClearCase operations. z/OS Extensions include Remote Build, TSO Client, and ClearCase RAM (CCRAM).
Using the TSO Client feature
Use the TSO Client feature to perform DevOps Code ClearCase® operations on the distributed system without leaving the mainframe system environment.

After you set up your environment, choose your view, and upload your files to the remote system, you can use the client component of TSO Client to perform basic file tasks with the files associated with your chosen view.

About this task

To locate a file in a file list, such as the View Files List panel, type the following command on the Option field of the panel and then press Enter.

LOCATE parameter

You can also use an abbreviated form of this command:

LOC parameter

For the parameter, specify an argument for the field on which the data set list is sorted. If the list is sorted by data set name, for example, then parameter is the name of a data set. If the list is sorted by member name, parameter is a member name. Valid values for this parameter are a profile name, a ClearCase® view name, a dataset name, or a ClearCase file name.

The LOCATE command is available on any panel that displays a table. This command scrolls the panel to the field specified. If the field is not found, the list is displayed starting with the entry preceding the parameter in the current sort order. The LOCATE command is available on any panel that displays a table.
