How do I manage a linked library?

When you are a community owner, you can rename Linked Libraries, choose how files are viewed in a library linked to your community, and change the server and library that you are connecting to.

Procedure

Perform these steps to manage a linked library from your community.
  1. From the community's Overview page, select Community Actions > Edit Community.
  2. Click the Linked Library tab for the linked library that you want to work with and complete one or more of the following tasks:
    • Change the server and the library that you are connected to on the Connection tab. For more information about this task, see How do I connect to an ECM server.
    • To rename the Linked Library, click the Customize tab and enter a name in the Name field.
      Note: When you change the name of a linked library, the name is updated in the Communities user interface but not on the ECM server.
    • To change the sorting order of the compact display, click the Customize tab and select a column order and sort order in the Document list sort section.
  3. Click Save and Close to apply your changes.
