Notes:
- In addition to the required service pack levels, ensure that your system has all of the latest critical fixes issued by Microsoft. To obtain the latest service packs and critical fixes, see the Microsoft Windows Update Web site.
- Ensure that you have Windows Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 and 7.0 or higher with the latest critical security updates, and the Adobe Flash plugin installed.
- If the database server and WebSphere Commerce server are in different machines, the clocks for both machines must be the same. Clocks which are synchronized with each other will avoid the available order items being treated as future orders.
- You might encounter permission problems when opening
programs as a non-administrator on Windows 2008,
Windows Vista and Windows 7, with UAC enabled. To
avoid these problems:
- Right-click the program file or shortcut, and select Run as administrator.
- For console based programs, right-click
cmd.exe
and select Run as administrator. Run the command from the new console.
