In this step, you will deploy and publish the WebSphere Commerce EAR file.

Procedure

Open WebSphere Commerce Developer.
Open the Java EE perspective.
In the Enterprise Explorer view , right-click WC ; go to Java EE > Prepare for Deployment .
In the Servers view:
1. Right-click WebSphere Commerce Test Server and select Start from the pop-up menu, or Restart > Start if the server is already started. Wait for the status of the server to change to Started.
2. Right-click WebSphere Commerce Test Server and select Publish from the pop-up menu. Wait for the publishing to finish and click OK .
