UpdateGallery URL

Updates the MEMBRAUCT table with the specified customer-auction relation types (auction-in-gallery, customer-has-viewed-rules).

URL structure

http:// host_name/path/

The fully qualified name of your WebSphere Commerce Server and the configuration path.

Parameter values

aucrfn

Required: The reference number of the auction to be added to the customer's gallery.

URL

Required: The URL to be called upon successful completion.

GA

When GA=1, the auction is put in the bidder's gallery.

VR

When VR=1, a row is put in the MEMBRAUCT table to indicate the bidder has viewed the auction rules.

Behavior

• Calls the UserAccessBean to verify that the customer is registered.
• Calls the AuctionAccessBean to check that the incoming auction reference number is valid. The auction is considered valid if the auction exists in the AUCTION table.
• Calls AuctionAccessBean method isInGallery() to determine whether to add a row to the MEMBRAUCT table with GA in the RELATIONTYPE column.
• Calls the AuctionAccessBean method isAuctionRuleViewed() to determine whether to add a row to the MEMBRAUCT table with VR in the RELATIONTYPE column.
• Redirects to the specified URL.

Exception Conditions

Sets ECApplicationException if the user is not registered or if the auction reference number is incorrect.
