DeleteMail URL

Marks one or more messages in the MSGMEMREL table for deletion.

URL structure

http:// host_name/path/

The fully qualified name of your WebSphere Commerce Server and the configuration path.

Parameter values

msgrfn

Required: The reference number of the message to be deleted. This parameter can be repeated.

url

Required: The URL to be called upon successful completion

Example

This example deletes message 5284, and redirects to the auction's main page:

http://myhostname/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/DeleteMail?msgrfn=5284&URL=MailListView

Behavior

• Calls the MessageMemberRelationAccessBean to verify the message exists and belongs to the user.
• Changes the status of the row in the message table to 'D' (Deleted).

Exception Conditions

• Sets _ERR_CMD_BAD_PARAMETER if a parameter is missing or incorrect.
• Sets _ERR_CMD_MISSING_PARAM if the message is not found.
