About accessing Linux® or UNIX dynamic views from Windows® hosts
A set of vendor products for accessing Linux® or UNIX file systems from Windows® computers is supported. If your organization uses one of these products, you can complete the following tasks to access Linux® or UNIX dynamic views from Windows® computers:
- On Linux® or the UNIX system, create the Linux® or UNIX view with the proper text mode, as determined by your system administrator.
- On the Windows® system, use Region Synchronizer to import the Linux® or UNIX view tag of the view into your Windows® network region.
- Start the dynamic view or add a shortcut to the view in HCL VersionVault Windows Explorer.
