Your IdP server generates a metadata file that contains configuration and integration details for SAML 2.0 single sign-on.

About this task

Copy the IdP server metadata file and place it on the server where Marketing Platform is installed. Make a note of the following information, which you need when you set configuration property values.

The location of the metadata file on the Marketing Platform server.
The value of entityID in the XML declaration at the top of the metadata file.
