Choose Image size when sending a photo in a chat

Now when you take a photo or choose a photo from the photo library and send it in a chat you can choose from Small, Medium, Large and Actual size. The photo will be scaled to the size selected before it is sent to your chat partner. If your server policy for maximum file transfer size is smaller than the actual size of the image, your size options may be limited with the largest being "Policy Limit".

Tapping a notification will open the associated chat

When the app is in the background and you receive an iOS notification for a new Sametime message, tapping the notification will bring Sametime to the foreground and navigate to the associated chat.

Note: If the notification is associated with a group chat, that app will open to the active chats list.

Recordings can now be saved to the Files app

Previously when you downloaded a meeting recording to the mobile device, it saved it in the photo library. Now with 11.6.2, you can choose to save it in the photo library or to the Files app. Note that downloading recordings requires the user policy im.mobile.allowRecieveFiles to be true. The most secure setting for this policy is false which is also the default setting. To enable this feature, your administrator will need to enable this user policy.

Remember last meeting list

Tapping Meetings on the menu will display the Meetings dialog. On this dialog you will find 4 different ways to list Meetings:

My Meetings - list the meetings that you own.
Scheduled - lists calendar events from your Verse and/or Apple calendar providing easy meeting entry without having to find the meeting URL.
Pinned - is a list of favorite meetings that you have pinned. These are the meetings that show up in pick list when you tap the meeting icon in a chat window.
Recent - is a list of the last few meetings you have attended.

Every user has a favorite list that they like to use. With 11.6.2, when you open the Meetings dialog, the last list you used will be the one displayed.

Moderators can now mute dial-in users

If your organization has deployed the new TeamCall Meeting Gateway to facilitate dial-in users in your meetings, the 11.6.2 release together; with the 11.6 IF1 meetings server will allow moderators to mute these dial-in participants.

CarPlay Updates

Our CarPlay support remains in preview mode for 11.6.2 but, there have been many improvements as we work with Apple to provide the best user experience. For now, it is recommended that Sametime be logged in and in the foreground when you connect to CarPlay to join a meeting.
