Release 11.0.1 includes the following new features.
- Support for persistent chat disabled mode The client now respects the
im.persistenChatEnabled policy sent down at login. Previously it was assumed to
always be on. The absence of this policy that was introduced with Sametime 10
assumes the policy is disabled. The essentially means we now have support for
messaging over a Sametime 9 server. Note: APNS messages from a Sametime 9 server to the new Sametime 11 client for iOS are not supported. Sametime 11 FP1 is required for APNS support.
App Configuration using an EMM Provider Sametime for iOS supports managed configuration via the most common Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) providers. See Configuring HCL Sametime for iOS via a EMM Provider for more information.
Dark Mode Support The app now responds to the dark mode setting on supported iOS devices.
New Meetings menu There is a new Meetings menu item on the main menu. You can use this to create and manage your third-party meetings. This function was previously under the Setting menu item.
