  Starting with version 1.0.4 for HCL Nomad for iOS, and version 1.0.13 for HCL Nomad for Android, managed configuration via most common Mobile Device Management (MDM) providers is supported. All MDM providers are slightly different in how they implement managed configurations for applications.

  Application (app) switcher is an optional, configurable dropdown menu displayed on the left of HCL Nomad for web browsers' navigation bar. Each app switcher menu entry shows an application icon followed by the application’s name. Clicking on an app switcher menu entry navigates to the corresponding application address in a new browser tab.

Configuring application restrictions on Nomad for web browsers

The following application restrictions can be set via the MarvelClient Configuration Database. These restrictions apply to the Nomad client after the user has completed a successful initial login. See the MarvelClient documentation for more information on using the MarvelClient Configuration Database.


Value	Description
Ignore	Does not set the value, Nomad default will take effect. Note: If a previous value was set, it remains in effect. Use Nomad default to remove.
Enable	Enable the setting.
Disable	Disable the setting.
Nomad default	Removes the setting. This allows the Nomad default setting to take effect.

Nomad Designer	Nomad Designer availability	Ignored	Enabled	When enabled, Nomad Designer functionality is available in Nomad for web browsers (1.0.10 and later).
Users mail	Enable opening of mail application	Ignored	Enabled	When enabled, the user is able to open their Notes mail application from within the Application.
