Prune tab

Complete the following fields in the Prune tab to control the deletion of backed-up databases. When you are done, you can click Test Formula to preview the prune path.

Field Description
Prune backup command Choose File if you are doing a simple file system or network drive backup. Choose other options to perform backups with a third-party backup application.
Prune DB command Choose File if you are doing a simple file system or network drive backup. Choose other options to perform backups with a third-party backup application.
Prune translog command Choose File if you are doing a simple file system or network drive backup. Choose other options to perform backups with a third-party backup application.
Prune OK string When command files, formulas, or scripts are used, defines a string that when not found in the output indicates the operation failed. Can be used in conjunction with Prune error string.
Prune error string When command files, formulas, or scripts are used, defines an error string that when found in the output indicates the operation failed.
