To use parameterized build for Rational® Developer for System z® or Eclipse, you need to set preferences
that point to the parameterized build scripts on your ClearCase® server.
Before you begin
You need to ask your ClearCase administrator
for the installation path of the parameterized build scripts.
Procedure
To set preferences for parameterized build, do these
steps:
- From the menu bar, click Window > Preferences.
The Preferences window opens.
- Expand Parameterized Build in the
preference page list and click Build Directory.
- Type the location of the parameterized build directory
in the Parameterized Build Directory field
or click Browse to navigate to the directory
location.
In most cases, the location of the parameterized
build directory is a shared directory on the ClearCase server, such as \\YOURCCHOST\ccstg_d\Triggers,
where YOURCCHOST is your ClearCase server hostname and ccstg_d\Triggers
is the directory on this host machine.
- Click OK.
