Installing and using z/OS® Extensions
z/OS® Extensions is a component of IBM® Rational® ClearCase® that enables mainframe users to perform select DevOps Code ClearCase operations. z/OS Extensions include Remote Build, TSO Client, and ClearCase RAM (CCRAM).
Configuring z/OS® Extensions
z/OS® Extensions include basic configuration tasks required to use the z/OS Extensions features and some optional configuration tasks. Some of these options need to be configured by an administrator and some need to be configured by individual users for their client environment.

To secure access to the server component of TSO Client on your distributed system, set the distributed system password by using the client component of TSO Client on the mainframe. This procedure needs to be completed for each TSO Client that accesses a TSO Client server using password authentication.

About this task

To remove a user and password for a particular system, run REXX™ exec RCCSECR by typing the following command from a TSO command prompt on the mainframe (assume that RCCSECR is installed in RCC.VERSION.TSCRX):

ex RCC.VERSION.TSCRX(RCCSECR)hostname username

Replace username with the name of the user you want to delete and hostname with the host to which that user is defined.
