Locate the installed build scripts to a shared directory

About this task

The ClearCase® installation process installs the parameterized build sample scripts into the os390/parmbld/triggers subdirectories of the ClearCase installation path, for example, opt/rational/clearcase/os390/parmbld/triggers, which has execute mode enabled for parameterized build users. The build scripts can also be installed in a shared directory that grants write access to the administrator and read or execute access to other users.
Note: This task needs to be done only once on the ClearCase server and not on the workstation of each developer who uses ClearCase. Each parameterized build user needs to have rwx access to a copy of the profileUser file so that they can set user-specific information in it. The file can reside on the user's workstation or on the same machine with the other parameterized build files but in each user's home directory (for example, /home/userid). See Define the user profile for more information about this file.
