To properly manage the HCL Connections™ for AirWatch app, you must deploy it from the AirWatch app catalog. You can deploy the Android app to mobile Android users from the AirWatch agent app catalog.

Deploying HCL Connections™ for AirWatch on Android

To properly manage the HCL Connections™ for AirWatch app, you must deploy it from the AirWatch app catalog. You can deploy the Android app to mobile Android users from the AirWatch agent app catalog.

Procedure

On the AirWatch console, navigate to Apps & Books > Applications > Public.
Select Add Application.
On the Add Application page, change the change the platform to Android and the source to Search App Store. In the Name field, enter HCL Connections for AirWatch and click Next.
Find the application called "HCL Connections™ for AirWatch" in the list and click Select.
Select the SDK tab.
On the SDK tab, select Android Default Settings @ Global from the SDK Profile list.

Note: The Connections app does not support custom SDK profiles.
Click Save and Assign.

Results

The app is now published in the app catalog. Mobile Android users can now install the HCL Connections™ for AirWatch app from their AirWatch Agent app catalog.
