Configure an extra layer of authentication using client certificates.

About this task

If your organization uses client certificates as an additional layer of authentication to access your HCL Connections™ deployment, you must distribute certificates, along with instructions, to your mobile users. The certificate authentication is done in addition to providing a user ID and password.

Note: Importing a client certificate for an account must be done only once. When a certificate is associated with an account, the HCL Connections™ app automatically uses the certificate when it receives a client certificate challenge.
