Managing Home page apps

Use the options available from the Actions icon to manage apps in the Updates and My Page views.

Before you begin

To access the action menu for a app, click the Actions icon

in the app title bar.

About this task

You can perform various management tasks for the apps in the Updates and My Page views. For example, if you find that you are no longer using a specific app, you might want to remove it to free up some space on the page. Or, if you're using one app more than the other apps, you might want to move it to a more prominent position on the page.

Procedure

To manage apps, complete the following steps as needed.

To move a app to a new location, do one of the following:
- Click the app title bar and drag the app to a new location.
- Choose one of the Move options available from the app action menu. The options available depend on the current position of the app on the page.
To set the number of entries that the app displays:
1. Select Edit from the app action menu.
2. Select the number of entries to display.
  The options available depend on the app that you are editing.
3. Click Save.
To view help for the tasks that you can perform using the app, select Help from the app action menu.
To reload the app and display the latest updates, select Refresh from the app action menu.
To remove the app, select Remove from the app action menu.
Removing the app returns it to the app palette. You can add the app again at any time.
