Recording work on a tickler

You can act on a tickler at any time; you do not have to wait to be reminded to do so. To keep track of your actions, you can record the work you do. Once you have completed the tickler, you can mark it as resolved to remove it from your tickler queue.

Procedure

  1. Log on to the IBM Sales Center.
  2. Optional: Select a store. A store does not have to be selected for you to see ticklers or record work on them.
  3. Optional: Click the Ticklers tab.
  4. Optional: Sort the ticklers by clicking on any column heading.
  5. Optional: Filter the ticklers by clicking the Filter Ticklers icon (Filter Ticklers icon) and choosing filtering options.
  6. Select the tickler you want to record work on, and then perform one of the following actions:
    • Double-click the tickler.
    • Right-click the tickler, and then click Work On (Ctrl+E, Ctrl+T).
    • Click Tickler > Work On.

    Tip: Notice that when the tickler opens, the store the tickler is related to opens as well.

  7. Optional: Click the user icon to open the customer profile associated with the tickler.
  8. Click Record New Action.
  9. Select an action from the list. Choosing a resolve action completes the tickler and removes it from your queue.
  10. Optional: Enter a comment.
  11. Click OK.
