Troubleshooting: Using Internet Explorer browser you cannot export a file from Management Center

When you try to export a file, such as a price list, from Management Center using Internet Explorer, a blank page pop-up opens and disappears right away, and the export fails.

In some previous versions of Internet Explorer, such as Internet Explorer 8, the Automatic prompting for file downloads security setting is disabled by default.


To resolve this problem, in Internet Explorer:
  1. Select Tools > Internet Options.
  2. Click the Security Settings tab.
  3. Click Custom level.
  4. In the Security Settings - Internet Zone page, scroll down to Downloads, and set Automatic prompting for file downloads to Enable.
  5. Retry the file export in Management Center.
