Troubleshooting: Cannot download files from Management Center using Internet Explorer

When you attempt to download CSV files or other files from the Management Center using Internet Explorer, a pop-up opens, but then disappears.


You are unable to download a file from the Management Center. For instance, this can occur when you attempt to download promotion codes in the Promotions tool.


To resolve this problem, do these steps in Internet Explorer:
  1. From Tools menu, select Internet Options.
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. Ensure that the Internet zone is selected, then click the Custom Level button.
  4. Scroll down to Downloads section.
  5. Look for the Automatic prompting for file downloads option, then enable it.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click OK again to close the Internet options window.
  8. Restart the browser.
