Troubleshooting: Error messages in setpermission.err

Messages indicating no such file or directory are logged during fix or fix pack installation or uninstallation.

Problem

After applying or uninstalling a fix or fix pack on WebSphere Commerce configured with an Oracle database on a Linux operating system, you see errors, similar to the following, in the setpermission.err log file:
grep: /home/oracle/sqllib/db2profile: No such file or directory
/opt/IBM/WebSphere/CommerceServer70/bin/wcnonroot.sh: line 96: /home/oracle/sqllib/db2profile: No such file or directory
/opt/IBM/WebSphere/CommerceServer70/bin/wcnonroot.sh: line 100: /home/oracle/sqllib/db2profile: No such file or directory
/opt/IBM/WebSphere/CommerceServer70/bin/wcnonroot.sh: line 101: /home/oracle/sqllib/db2profile: No such file or directory
/opt/IBM/WebSphere/CommerceServer70/bin/wcnonroot.sh: line 102: /home/oracle/sqllib/db2profile: No such file or directory

Solution

These messages can be safely ignored.
