Wi-Fi configuration management

BigFix MCM and BigFix Mobile offer WiFi configuration management, where administrators can control and configure the wireless network settings on MCM-enrolled devices. This helps organizations to maintain a secure and reliable wireless network infrastructure while providing flexibility for users to connect to authorized networks.

Administrators can create and push WiFi profiles to the enrolled devices to achieve the following:

Push the necessary settings for connecting to specific wireless networks.
Configure network authentication methods (e.g., WPA2, WPA3) and encryption settings to ensure secure connections to WiFi networks.
Include the SSID (Service Set Identifier) and password for the WiFi network. This allows devices to automatically connect to the specified network without manual input.
Remotely update WiFi configurations on devices. This is useful for making changes to network settings without requiring physical access to the devices.
Track the status of WiFi configurations on devices and troubleshoot any connectivity issues.
