Integrating with the service class
To minimize delays in the
execution of the workload, HCL Workload Automation for Z:
- Detects that a critical job is running late.
- Calls a documented WLM interface to move the job to a higher performance service class.
- Conveys additional system resources so that the job can complete in a shorter time.
The delay in the batch workload is therefore reduced.
