After you installed and configured Orchestration CLI, you can run one or combination of commands to accomplish specific results.

    With HCL Workload Automation you can define jobs to run when and as often as necessary. Sometimes some jobs might have to wait for other jobs to finish successfully before they start. Add even more flexibility to your job flows by choosing which job to run depending on the result of the job status or output of a previous job. Whenever you have conditions that specify whether or not a segment of your job flow should run, then that is a conditional dependency.

Running commands from Orchestration CLI

After you installed and configured Orchestration CLI, you can run one or combination of commands to accomplish specific results.

Before you begin

You must have completed the following tasks:

Installed and configured the Orchestration CLI in your system. For more information, see Configuring Orchestration CLI.
The required permissions to run the commands. For more information, see overview section of each commands mentioned in Orchestration CLI commands and Security role definition.

About this task

You can use Orchestration CLI to run the plan commands.

Procedure

Navigate to the directory where you have downloaded the files for Orchestration CLI.
Type ocli plan in the command prompt, and then enter the command you want to run.

Important: You must type ocli plan before every command that you want to run.

You have successfully run the command in Orchestration CLI.
