Defining objects in the database

HCL Workload Automation is based on a set of object definitions that are used to map your scheduling environment into the database. Scheduling objects are:
  • calendars
  • domains
  • event rules
  • jobs
  • job streams
  • prompts
  • parameters
  • resources
  • run cycle groups
  • folders
  • variable tables
  • workload applications
  • workstations
  • workstation classes
  • users
A special set of scheduling objects is composed of the security objects. Security objects map the role-based security in your scheduling environment. Security objects are:
  • access control lists
  • security domains
  • security roles
