  HCL VersionVault provides two clients for software developers: local and remote. Each client supports different mechanisms for accessing source-controlled filesystem objects. Both clients provide graphical and command-line interfaces.

About the toolbar

The area below the menu bar is the toolbar, which contains tool icons that allow direct access to History Browser functions. On Windows, this is the standard toolbar.

On Windows systems, placing the cursor over an icon causes the hover help to be displayed in the status bar.

On Linux and the UNIX system, placing the cursor over an active icon causes the hover help to be displayed.
