Planning for integrating Campaign offers with personalized email

Before you integrate Campaign offers with personalized email, you must prepare Campaign to process the offer responses that arrive from the email channel.

Campaign uses its own process to extract, transform, and load (ETL) offer response data from the Deliver tracking tables into the Campaign contact and response history tables. You must update Campaign configuration properties to control how often Campaign transfers data from the Deliver system tables.

To support offer integration with personalized email, you can modify Campaign system tables and performance reports. You can also modify response type mapping to handle offer responses.

Configuring offers in Campaign and adding them in Deliver might include different members of your organization. Ensure that separate teams and individuals communicate and understand how their actions can affect the work of others. For example, offer administrators responsible for changing or replacing offers must know whether the offers are included in mailings that run repeatedly according to a schedule.
