Concurrent actions in the Recycle Bin

The Recycle Bin allows more than one user at a time to access deleted items. Users see the results of their own changes but the Recycle Bin does not refresh the view display to all users after every user action.

If multiple users operate on the same item, the system completes the first action that is entered into the system. In some situations, this behavior might lead to conflicting results.

For example, if one user permanently deletes an asset and a short time later another user restores the same file, each user receives confirmation that the action is successful. However, in this example, the first action takes precedence and the asset is deleted, not restored.

To avoid potentially misleading results, click Refresh Objects to view the updated status of objects in the Recycle Bin.
