Application Server ports

Open ports on each IBM® WebSphere® Application Server in the cluster so it can communicate with cluster members.

Open the Ports page for the application server by completing the following steps:
  1. In the deployment manager's IBM WebSphere Integrated Solutions Console, click Servers > WebSphere application servers.
  2. In the table of application servers, click the cluster member link next to the name of the node you are modifying.
  3. On the configuration page, look under "Additional Properties" and click Ports.
  4. Set the ports as described in Table 1 and Table 2.

Open the ports in Table 1 between all application servers and the deployment manager:

Open the ports in Table 2 to all end users and to all nodes that host a WebSphere SIP proxy server for connecting end users to the cluster.
