SIP Proxy/Registrar ports
SIP ports for stand-alone and clustered Sametime® SIP Proxy/Registrar components.
The following ports are used on the Sametime SIP Proxy/Registrar component of the IBM® Sametime Media Manager.

| 5080-5081 | SIP messaging uses these ports in a single node IBM Sametime Media Manager Sever deployment where the Sametime SIP Proxy/Registrar runs in a separate virtual host. The value is defined in the WebSphere® Application Server instance on which the Sametime SIP Proxy/Registrar is running. |
| 5060-5061 | The default Sametime SIP Proxy/Registrar installer does not use these ports. It uses 5080 and 5081. Therefore, this is only true if the administrator changes the virtual host to use the default, which is defined on port 5060/5061. SIP messaging uses this port in a multiple server Media Manager deployment where Sametime SIP Proxy/Registrar runs in on a separate computer. The value is defined in the WebSphere Application Server instance on which the Sametime SIP Proxy/Registrar is running. |
