Sending announcements

You can send announcements to a group in your contact list.

Procedure

  1. Click the menu icon ( menu icon) in the navigator and select Contacts.
  2. Click the menu icon next to the contact or group name that you want to send an annoucement and click Send Announcement.
  3. In the Send Announcement dialogue box, type the announcement text.
  4. To add additional people to the announcement, type a name in the Search for Recipients. As you type suggestions are provided. When the name that you want to add displays, click the name.
    To remove a recipient, click the delete icon (Delete icon.
  5. To , click Display as overlay banner
  6. To send the announcement, click Send.
