Configuring the WebSphere SIP proxy servers to use the signed certificate

Public and personal signed certificates from the Certificate Authority that are used by the IP routing Load Balancer must be associated with WebSphere® SIP proxy servers being used for TLS SIP connections.

About this task

Associate the certificates with the cell and the nodes where the WebSphere SIP proxy server is running.

Procedure

  1. On the Deployment Manager's Integrated Solutions Console, navigate to Security > SSL certificate and key management > SSL configurations.
  2. From the node on which the WebSphere SIP Proxy server is installed, click NodeDefaultSSLSettings.
  3. Change the Keystore name from NodeDefaultKeyStore to CellDefaultKeyStore.
  4. Click Get certificate aliases to see the newly created certificate.
  5. Select the new certificate and click Apply.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Return to the SSL Configurations window.
  8. For each cell the WebSphere SIP Proxy server is installed on, click CellDefaultSSLSettings.
  9. Change the Keystore name from NodeDefaultKeyStore to CellDefaultKeyStore.
  10. Click Get certificate aliases to see the newly created certificate.
  11. Select the new certificate and click Apply.
  12. Click Save.

Repeat this process for each node and cell that has a WebSphere SIP proxy server that needs to be configured for TLS SIP connections with the IP routing Load Balancer.
