Importing the signed certificate to the Deployment Manager

The WebSphere® Deployment Manager needs the personal signed certificate transferred back to its key store.

About this task

Import the signed personal certificate from the Certificate Authority to the WebSphere Deployment Manager CellDefaultKeyStore.

Procedure

1. Copy the signed certificate from the Certificate Authority to the file system of the WebSphere Deployment Manager.
2. From the Integrated Solutions Console, click Security > SSL Certificate and key management > > Key stores and certificates > CellDefaultTrustStore > Personal Certificates.
3. Click Receive from a Certificate authority.
4. Provide the file name and location for the signed certificate. For example,
   • Linux™

     /MyNewCertSigned

   • Windows™

     C:\IBM\MyNewCertSigned

5. Click OK.

Results

The personal certificate has been added to the CellDefaultKeyStore. If you navigate back to Security > SSL Certificate and key management > Key stores and certificates > CellDefaultTrustStore > Personal Certificates, the original personal certificate request is no longer listed.
