Requesting a personal certificate for the Deployment Manager from the Certificate Authority

The WebSphere® Application Server deployment must have a personal signed certificate from the same Certificate Authority as the IP routing Load Balancer to enable TLS SIP traffic.

About this task

Create a personal certificate request and export it to the local file system.

Procedure

  1. From the Deployment Manager Integrated Solutions Console, click Security > SSL certificate and key management > Key stores and certificates > Personal certificate requests.
  2. Click New.
  3. Specify a filename and export location for your certificate, such as /MyNewCertRequest.
  4. Complete all fields with information related to your environment.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click Save.

Results

A certificate request is created and exported to the location you requested.
