IBM® Sametime® consists of a variety of servers and clients, and can be deployed to suit many different environments. The deployment instructions are organized by feature set, beginning with the minimum components that are necessary to support instant messaging, and then expanding the deployment to include features such as audio and video support, and conferencing.

About this task

Follow these steps to add the class to the Sametime Community Server.

Note:

When you use this feature on IBM AIX®, or Linux™, you must compile your class using Java 1.5 or later. This requires you to use IBM Domino® 8.0 or later because earlier versions do not include the correct version of Java.

Procedure

Compile the Java source code file to produce the Java class file.
Copy the compiled class file (StLdapCustomized.class) to the "java" subdirectory of the Sametime server installation directory.
The default path for the class file is: c:\Lotus\Domino\java
