The audio/video services are enabled by default following an IBM® Sametime® Media Manager installation. You can enable and disable the audio/video services from the Sametime System Console. This section describes how to manage the Sametime Media Manager.

Monitor the health of IBM® Sametime® Video MCU servers by checking to see if any alarms have been activated.

Procedure

Browse to the IBM WebSphere® Integrated Solutions Console on the server hosting the IBM Sametime System Console.
Log in to the Integrated Solutions Console as the WebSphere administrator.
In the navigation tree, click Sametime System Console > Sametime Servers > Sametime Video MCU Servers.
Select the Video MCU server name whose active alarms you are viewing.
Click Active Alarms.
On the Sametime Video MCU Servers - Active Alarms page, you can view these details:
- No. of active alarms - Number of active alarms for the selected Video MCU server.
- Alarm details - Active alarm status detail for the selected Video MCU server. For example,
  System configuration changed. Please reset the MCU.
Click Back to return to the list of Sametime Video MCU Servers.
